Samantha Thavasa is a Japanese fashion company, known primarily for its handbags popular among twenty-something women. Other accessory lines such as Samantha Thavasa Deluxe, Samantha Vega, Samantha Thavasa New York were created to meet different markets.
The company was founded in 1994 by Kazumasa Terada, the current CEO and president. The company has over 130 retail stores in Japan. In late 2006 Samantha Thavasa opened its first U.S. store in New York City.

 Samantha Thavasa bags design have a really cute feel when we look at them. Sometimes there are flowery pattern on the bag and almost all the bags have a doll as a decoration. The design make that it's suit for teenagers and young adults. Even though there're dolls decoration on the bags, they don't look childish because of the right combination and proportion between the bag and the doll's size. Not only they don't have a childish look but they also have a really sophisticated design that attract consumer to buy them. As for the colour of the bags, they usually just have one colour for the whole bag including the decoration. I think it's because they won't look too eccentric because of the different colour crash.
